Hi, I'm Liane.

I'm here as an impartial professional to listen to you, and to talk through the issues you are experiencing.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and all of us need help to navigate life's events from time to time. You may have found my website having experienced a big change in your life; or a bereavement. You might be feeling low or anxious. You may have felt this many times before, or be experiencing this for the first time. You may wish to talk things through with someone who won't judge you and is completely impartial. 

I appreciate how hard it can be to take this first step, I have been in your shoes.  But once that first step is taken there is a possibility that life can change. As a Counsellor, I can offer you an opportunity to explore at your own pace, in a safe and compassionate environment, what is happening in your life at the moment, or what has happened in the past.  We will explore your thoughts and feelings about your worries with curiosity, and discover how they impact you. Working in this way can help you to make sense of your experiences, leading to healing.

How your sessions will work

sessions can work in a few different ways to suit your requirements.
However you decide to meet me, I have trust that it's the right way for you.
All sessions are 50 minutes in length. 

Face to face session

We could meet face to face. I work from Cherry Tree Therapy Centre and also The Becket Centre in Woodford, NE London. Find on Map...

walk and talk session

We can walk and talk*. Some clients find this type of therapy less daunting than being in the counselling room.

online session

We can meet on-line. Some clients find this way more flexible to fit around family or work commitments.


You can choose to walk in nature, which some clients find calming, or we can choose a more residential route.  This can be discussed prior to our session.
